The American Academy of Project Management (AAPM) this month launched the first Certified International Project Manager (CIPM) training program in the UAE.
Produced by leading training provider IIRME, a total of 34 delegates from around the region attended the program in Dubai which was acclaimed as a tremendous success by all concerned.
Steve Wylie, Director of the AAPM who was the speaker on the program, could hardly conceal his delight at the number of delegates who attended the first course. ‘We knew that CIPM would be a popular program in the booming markets of the Gulf, but the response has been fantastic. .
Mike Wilkes, Regional Business Development Director for the American Academy was equally pleased. ‘ We had delegates from a cross section of GCC industries, from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and the UAE' We couldn't have hoped for a better start to our Project Management training program.'
A total of 34 project professionals form around the Gulf attended and all were presented with their individual CIPM Certificates and AAPM membership packs on the last day of the course.
